The donation of the Astorino robot to the "Electrician" in Krosno

02-11-2023

In SPLAST we understand the importance of practical learning of innovative technologies. For years future engineers have been given opportunities to obtain qualifications by internships in our company, as well as support for their schools and universities. Among these is Zespół Szkół Elektrycznych i Ogólnokształcących w Krośnie. Dozens of our employees came from the popular „Electrician” and we hope to sustain this trend among the graduates. That was the reason for the donation of 6-axis educational robot Astorino Kawasaki Robotics to this school. Astorino is a design by Marek Niewiadomski from ASTOR company – our long-term partner in robotics and production automation. This robot is intended for learning ELM.07 (Assembling, Launching and Operation of Robotics Systems) and ELM.08 (Utilization and Programming of Robotics Systems).

'Such tool is essential in modern education, both for high schools and universities. Currently, this is a basis for proper training of technicians and engineers', said Marek Sanocki, CEO of SPLAST, during the official reception of the robot.

Astorino was presented to future engineers and programmists by Przemysław Trzop, ASTOR System Control & Industrial Software Specialist. Headmaster Marek Kubit received robot on behalf of Zespół Szkół Elektrycznych i Ogólnokształcących w Krośnie. Furthermore, in the ceremony participated Piotr Przytocki, Mayor of Krosno; Bronisław Baran, Deputy Mayor of Krosno; Zbigniew Kubit, Chief of Municipal Council of Krosno; Agnieszka Woźniak, PhD, Vice-President for Development at Państwowa Akademia Nauk Stosowanych w Krośnie, as well as teachers and students of „Electrician”.
