Starting from 2003, SPLAST has been investing in the Tool-Shop, which expands rapidly. Our Tool-Shop produces multicomponent moulds, moulds with injection gas, overmoulding and MuCell technology with mass up to 20 T and 1800x1600x1000 mm dimensions. Currently, SPLAST Tool-Shop produces approximately 120 injection moulds annually and at the same time ensures the maintenance of nearly 2 500 moulds working in our injection moulding plants.
SPLAST ensures its customers the complex implementation of projects, starting from the moment of product design and technical support during the whole implementation process as well. The injection moulding machines with clamping force from 40 to 2 000 T allow to perform tests and serial production.
Machinery park
SPLAST Tool-Shop owns a very modern machinery park, and a specialized group of workers able to handle the most difficult of challenges. At the moment, our Tool-Shop machinery park consists of the following devices:
3-axials:
5-axials:

Design
The stage of design is led by using the latest CAD/CAM programs under the supervision of experienced engineers and programmers. The entire design process is carried out in close cooperation with the customer, thus even the most complex moulds arise quickly and efficiently. The SPLAST R&D is working with the most modern software, such as Siemens NX 12, CATIA V5 and MastercamM X8. For manufactured parts and moulds our company provides full control of dimensional measurements, including 3D and PPAP documentation. The whole project management process is supervised in the PLM system (Product Lifecycle Management) of Siemens Teamcenter 11, starting from a concept, through changes, BOM check until the production execution.
Realization
The SPLAST Tool-shop designs and manufactures moulds for the customers in automotive industry, electronics and furniture, as well as for the SPLAST injection plants. Nowadays, approximately 120 new projects are released each year.
